Vitaly Petrov takes our second of the April Awards, winning the Climber Of The Month. After a poor debut season in Formula One, Vitaly has silenced some of the doubters with an impressive start to 2011. His season couldn't have started much better than it did in Australia. A third place, the Russian's first podium, paid back Renault's confidence in him. Vitaly had a poor Malaysian Grand Prix, but he came home a solid ninth in China. In two out of the three races he has beaten the much more experienced Nick Heidfeld, and getting the teams first podium this year put the pressure on the German. Vitaly will be hoping to improve on this great start, so he can keep his seat at Renault for next year, and continue to climb up the rankings.
