Climber Of The Month - Sergio Perez

Sergio Perez has won the Climber Of The Month award for the second month in a row. His climbing is partly due to the tightness at the bottom of the rankings, and partly with Sergio's impressive displays through his debut season.

Sergio missed the Canadian GP after his accident at the Monaco GP. Felling ill while in the car, he gave his Sauber to Pedro De La Rosa for the weekend. At the European GP, Sergio tried to make amends for this missing week-end. On a one-stop strategy, Sergio was always going to be moving up and down the grid. Eventually, within the very tight midfield, he finished in eleventh place, just outside the points. However, he did gain rankings points, enough to push him into up to 31st place.
