Team Lotus are still considered to be the best of the "new teams". Throughout 2011, they have outpaced Virgin & HRT, and compared to 2010, they have closed the gap, slightly, to the midfield teams. Both experienced drivers have really helped the team to gain them valuable seconds. With Trulli getting as high as 13th already, it will not be long before Team Lotus are up their in the top 10. Which driver it will be is any one's guess. Both have dropped ranking points due to their previous success. However, that should not put them off. Lotus don't have the raw pace, yet, to gain a 10th place or better without luck on their side. But their time will come, and then Lotus should gain their strength to pursue higher positions.
