After poor race pace in 2010, many people were hoping to see HRT improve, and no longer be at the back of the grid. They are certainly on an upward curve, with 2011 being a lot better than 2010. They have the ability to compete with Virgin, and are closing the gap on Lotus, and the midfield teams. Within the team, it is obvious that Vitantonio Liuzzi has taken the Number One spot. In the first part of the season, he was easily faster than Narain Karthikeyan. But with the Indian under perfoming, Daniel Ricciardo was drafted in to finish the season. He seems to be a more difficult nut to crack. The Australian beat Tonio in Hungary, and the youngster will be looking to make a name for himself as he looks to get experience under his belt.
