After all the hype pre-season of possible race wins, Mercedes have not lived up to their expectations. Currently they are still waiting for their first podium of the season. Their form has been their major problem. They seem unable to have continued success, and often follow a great race week-end by having a poor race week-end. Between the drivers, both seem to be very close. Nico Rosberg seems to have the qualifying pace; however, when it comes to a race situation, he has not been successful of improving his position. On the other hand, Michael has had some very poor Saturdays, leaving him down the field. This has given him work to do on the Sundays; but, he has seemed capable of climbing through the field. Their largest problem though is just raw pace. They are, though, still the fourth best team, and very rarely do you see them competing with The Big Three.
