Last Time
Qualifying was delayed from Saturday to the Sunday morning, due to awful weather. Red Bull did well to take the front row, ahead of Hamilton and Kubica. At the start of the race, two first corner accidents brought out the safety car. During the safety car, Kubica, who had climbed to second, retired after losing a tyre. This then left 2 races. There was the battle between Webber & Vettel for first. Then the battle for third between Alonso, Button and Hamilton. In the end Vettel wins started a great string of results as he went on to win the title. Webber held onto second, while the best Alonso could do was to beat the McLarens.
This Time
This years Japanese Grand Prix will probably be remembered for Vettel winning his second Driver's World Championships. He only needs to finish in the top 10 to ensure he is champion. After winning the last two Japanese GPs, he will surely be fast, and will be the man to beat. He is the type of driver that will want to win this weekend, and really will not take second, even if it wins him the title.
