Button Signs For McLaren
Jenson Button has signed a new multi-year contract with McLaren. There had been rumours linking him with a drive in 2013 for Ferrari. The contract length has not been confirmed, but it is suspected that we will be seeing JB at McLaren for a few years to come. This year, Jenson has been driving great and has been outperforming Lewis Hamilton. Currently he is the only driver who can stop Sebastian Vettel from winning a second title. The contract is said to be worth up to £50 million. It should see Jenson racing at McLaren for at least 4 years, and when he decides to stop racing, it is understood that he will then take up an advisory roll at the team.

Fernando Going For Second
After losing out on the title at the Singapore GP, Fernando Alonso has set his sights in winning the battle for second. Currently, Jenson Button lies 2nd, ahead of Mark Webber, Alonso, and Lewis Hamilton. The victor will gain little, bar the satisfaction of beating of fierce competition.

Teams Set Sights On 2012
Red Bull and Ferrari have already past comment about their 2012 cars. Ferrari have said that they will try hold back less, and their 2012 model will be something different. Adrian Newey has also said that next year's Red Bull will "amaze" the field. With both titles now close to Red Bull, the other teams on the grid will stop development of this years car, and start preparing next years. As in the past, the team that starts developing first may loss out a bit on that year, but will get a small advantage at the start of the next season.
