This years winner of the Newie Of The Year Award for 2011 is Paul Di Resta. Paul has had a perfect debut season. A year which has seen make a lot of fans. He has pushed experienced team mate Adrian Sutil, and he has punched above his weight, and beaten both Mercedes and Renault in some races. Paul's best performance of the year was a great drive to sixth at Singapore. Other drivers similar to this seems to have secured his driver for next year, with Force India set to extended the Scot's stay at the Indian team. He also has a very bright future, with Mercedes supposed to be interested in the youngster. Paul's current ranking of 16th not only means he is ahead of Sergio Perez. But he currently sits ahead of names like Heidfeld, Kovalainen & Liuzzi.
