2011's award for Team Of The Year goes to Red Bull
Red Bull's dominance in F1 this year will go down in history. Agreed, it was only dominance by one car, but the car still has to be there. Adrian Newey and the rest of the Red Bull team built a World Championship winning car from day 1, and though the whole season they have been the team to beat. This shows that they are a team that when they get a lead, it is very hard to peg them back. The Austrian team did lose a little bit of pace to McLaren, and had some tyre issues at Belgium and Japan, but at both races they got Pole Position and at least 1 podium. They also made a car suitable for several different types of track, winning at Spa, Singapore and India. Red Bull have also been near perfect in the races as well. Great strategies, perfect pit-stops, and only 2 retirements prove that they are an all-round great team.
